90s NOS USA Sand Castle Womens Brown Leather Belt Chrome Buckle ROPE MOTIF SZM/L

Sand Castle belt from the 80s. NOS. Unused. Handmade. See photos. Sold AS IS. Leather does contain natural defects may see some.I have an abundance of Sand Castle belts that I will be posting until all of them are sold.I was very fortunate to come across these by the makers who are now in their late 70's.These belts were sold in NYC at: Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Macy's, & finer boutiques throughout the city. These belts were hand-made in the USA w/ leather. The buckles, studs, & grommets were imported from: Spain, Italy, & France.The business closed in the 90's because of new EPA & processing regulations. They were ordered to have to purchase millions of dollars in processing equipment & stop using vegetables as dye. Because of this cost, they would no longer be able to profit due to this situation & that having to close, some of the belts were not stamped/marked. These were put away for 40 yrs. Most are in excellent condition. Some of the patina may have oxidized. superb for everyday use. top-grade materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
